The raffle netted enough for 20 turkeys! Not to be outdone, Rotarians Brian Popp and Ralph Neff added to the kitty to double the donation. Very generous, thank you Brian and Ralph! Jim Larsen had to double the turkey order at Strack and Van Til.Ken Buczek used his truck to collect the turkeys for delivery on Monday, November 25th. Other members arrived for the unloading and distribution.
The "profit" for Merrillville Rotary: St. Clare Health Clinic in Crown Point distributed the turkeys to 40 area families. This effort was appreciated by the families who received a Thanksgiving Turkey and trimminings for the American holiday.
