Events

Presently committees are working on the details of what is becoming our annual Wine Tasting fund raiser. This is an annual event which raises money for school clothes for needy children of the area. The dates for the 2008 edition have not yet been determined .

In 2007 in conjunction with an event sponsored by the Crown Point Club, Merrillville Rotary held the first Bean Bag tournament at the Lake County Fair Grounds. The success of this event dictates that it become an annual affair.  Dates have not been determined for 2008.

May 8, 2008 is the day that Merrillville Rotary sponsors the Mother's Day concert of the Northwest Indiana Symphony. In appreciation of out generous contribution, Rotarians may get a "buy one, get one free" deal on purchasing tickets.
