Events

Presently committees are working on the details of what is becoming our annual Wine Tasting fund raiser. This is an annual event which raises money for school clothes for needy children of the area. The dates for the 2009 edition have not yet been determined .

In 2007 in conjunction with an event sponsored by the Crown Point Club, Merrillville Rotary held the first Bean Bag tournament at the Lake County Fair Grounds. The success of this event dictated that it become an annual affair.  A repeat of the event was held on October 2008 and was another success. Dates have not been determined for 2009.
